Cathryn Berger Kaye

Cathryn Berger Kaye, M.A., international educator and founder of CBK Associates, brings learning to life through high-level engagement and content that matters. She provides in-person and virtual experiences through conferences, school visits and ongoing relationships, support for program development, curriculum resources, and more. She is an author, framer, ranter, concept developer, and collaborator. With her consulting team, she brings expertise on service learning, social and emotional dynamics, curriculum design, and JEDI-justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. She has authored numerous articles and four books including The Complete Guide to Service Learning and two books with environmental activist Philippe Cousteau – Going Blue and Make a Splash! She has created a social and emotional series of learning experiences for K-12 that also supports Advisory, bringing together her understanding that meaningful conversations and connections are essential in education, and providing youth with a safe way to be fully present and known by adults and peers – a true gift. Cathryn is based in Los Angeles where she appreciates the beach, reading, dancing, friends, and family. Her travels have taken her to 65 countries, so far, to share, connect, learn, and grow.
